On June 7, 2024, Taxpayers for Common Sense and a group of organizations dedicated to taxpayer interests and government accountability, wrote a letter to House Committee on Rules Chairman Burgess and Ranking Member McGovern expressing support for an amendment to H.R. 8070, the Fiscal Year 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), to repeal the statutory requirements for unfunded priority lists (UPLs), and to request that this amendment be included in the rule governing floor debate of the NDAA.
